A viral photograph of a fish with plump lips and human-like teeth has stunned many online in recent weeks, but is it the real deal?

The Mirror reported that the picture was first posted July 2 by an Indonesian Twitter user with the caption “her lips are hotter than mine.” It was alleged that the fish was caught in Malaysia.

Some media reports have claimed the scaly creature to be the real deal. The New York Post reported that it may just likely be a triggerfish that inhabits tropical seas around the globe. National Geographic says that the triggerfish uses its people-like teeth to eat crabs and sea urchins, which they flip over to get at the soft underbelly beneath, as seen in this video.

Unfortunately for those wanting to believe this slippery sucker is real, experts have recently come out saying that the fish with human lips is not the real deal after all.
